TopDog staff have been great. In relation to our minder, we could not be happier. In fact, I meant to send you an email after our last sitting in May. Our dog is always excited when she arrives at Maria’s and she is well cared for. The fact that she is allowed inside the house and can be part of the family is just terrific as she does not like being locked outside when all the fun is happening inside. The kids are great with our dog as Maria is very particular in making sure that they are gentle and treat dogs appropriately. This is particularly important for us as our dog is not used to being around children all the time. Keep up the great service!

I would say my dog falls into the hard to place and hard to please category being slightly antisocial due to blindness and old age, and i felt my and his needs were well catered for. My dog, Snowy was located at Deirdre’s house in Runcorn and he was extremely well looked after. She was wonderful with him and I don’t think he wanted to come home! She text me with an update as to how he was which was wonderful.

Very happy with the Minder. Catherine & Alan were lovely & Roxy was well looked after. Annette was very helpful on the phone sorting our a minder, there was a wee hick up with the first dog minder, but, Annette was quick to call around & put us in touch with a new dog minder.
This is the second time we have used TopDog Minders. I am happier leaving Roxy at someones house rather than a kennels. She wouldn't cope being locked up all day in a cage! |

Thanks so much for matching our dog Tilly up with Tina and Monica. We can tell she gets spoiled as much at their place as she does at home!
Tilly was adopted from an animal shelter and has some separation anxiety issues so we couldn't imagine sending her to Boarding Kennels when we go away - she just wouldn't cope. At Tina and Monica's place she's treated as a member of the family, gets plenty of attention and it's obvious she feels at home there. We can relax when we go away, knowing that she's safe and happy.
Thanks again for getting us in touch with these lovely people and for providing such a great alternative in dog accommodation, we happily recommend you to all our dog-owner friends!

Dealing with TopDog Minders was a very positive experience. It was good to be able to go and meet the minder before having to drop off our dog. Our minder was absolutely wonderful. She treated Zeus as her own and we felt very comfortable leaving him with her. What we were looking for, was, that Toby could be part of the family and that his strict diet be maintained due to skin allergies.
Lynne treated Toby like a Prince and took lots of videos and photos for us, even letting him sleep on her bed. It was also great for him socially to mix with other dogs on neutral territory. She is also only a 10 minute drive away which was very handy when trying to juggle flight times. |

I would like to take the opportunity to thank Andrea for looking after ‘Ben’ for me. As she found out that not only Ben was an exRSPCA dog but a dog has ‘low self-esteem’!!!!! Ben must have had an abusive past but slowly has develop confidence and love through myself. Having said all that, I would like to express my confidence with having Andrea look after Ben. Although she looks after a few dogs at once, nevertheless, I was surprised to ring her from Phillip Island that Ben had been ‘sleeping’ with Andrea in comfort….. He must have really trusted her and felt at home with Andrea. Not only does Andrea knows how to make dogs comfortable, but she also gave me quite a lot of advise especially for a slightly timid dog like Ben. I just wanted to say a BIG BIG BIG thank you to you and Kirsten for coming to my rescue. As you know Kishma attempted to escape from Boarding Kennels which resulted in a severely injured foot that required 24hour supervision whilst it healed. As both Dan and I work full time we were in a jam. Angel Kirsten to the rescue. She is is amazing, I work long hours and travel frequently interstate, Dan does shift work. Kirsten fitted in around us, nothing was a drama or a problem and the ability to drop kish off in the morning and pick her up at night was fantastic. She even had the odd Sleep over. I felt like a real mum with a child in day care. On top of this Kirsten even washed her for me!! What can I say about Kirsten other than she is a rare gem. I deal in a fast paced hectic aggressive IT industry and I tell you what we could all take a leaf out of Kirstens book on exceptional customer service and flexibility. Her smiley face and “Can do” attitude made the whole experience so easy. Kishma got to know where she was going everyday and bounded into the car. I wish there was more people on this earth like Kirsten, she is a wonderful human being. Kishma most definatley will be back, My other dog Charlie is jealous off her outings we have had to give him treats as we felt guilty. Thank you so much Wendy for taking us on board, you understood my situation and came to my rescue. Again thanks for a fantastic service. We will be back! And after today…I think real soon. |

The first time we were concerned about our elderly dog who had just lost her companion of 10 years [a blue heeler] and she was fretting. I found everyone I dealt with at Top Dog to be very accommodating and caring. The minders we have used have been great. In light of your experience, would you use us again or recommend us to others? We have used Top dog again recently [as we went away to a non doggie friendly place]. We were concerned about our new dog as she had not been minded before but the minder was very caring and we knew they would be ok. We were very happy with her. We've just returned and I thought I'd let you know what a wonderful job Eileen did - Ben was in better shape when I picked him up than he was in when I dropped him off. Eileen is a delightful person and I'd be happy for her to mind Ben again. I've been thrilled with the two carers Ben has had - Helen and Eileen - thanks Wendy for providing such a great service. |

Q. What was your main concern or requirements when selecting a dog minding service ?
Someone who would make the dog feel secure ,loved(lots of attention) and exercise him frequently. Someone who had a secure property and was aware of his escape tendancies.
Q. In light of your experience, would you use us again and would you recommend us to others ?
Yes I certainly would use Tracy again she was excellent .I felt relieved when I met her as it was all a bit of a rush with the funeral I had to go to overseas.
Q. Do you have any other suggestions you would like to add ?
I had no idea you existed ,why don’t you see if you can interest one of the T.V.channels to do an interest story for you. I would be happy to give you a recommendation on air. If its easier to do in Sydney Benji (the dog)will be there in March my daughter whos dog he is has moved over there. |

Just wanted to let you know that our entire family had a wonderful holiday and we feel Minko had the BEST TIME. We think she is suffering withdrawal, all joking aside we could not be happier with the service and attention that was bestowed upon Minko by Heather. She really knows how to look after dogs and gets to know them very well. Minko was trim taught and terrific. We are not so sure about how happy she is to be one of the big pack at present as she is not getting enough attention but she did LOVE staying at Heather's. Q. What was your main concern or requirements when selecting a dog minding service ?
My dog’s welfare. She is a laid-back dog, but I needed to know she’d be in a safe environment and happy while I was away, otherwise I would’ve been fretting about her.
Q. In light of your experience, would you use us again and would you recommend us to others ?
Yes, I would use this service again. It’s a lot better than placing your dog into the kennels. Just the fact that Brie was around people and other pets, she would’ve been right in her element!
Q. Do you have any other suggestions you would like to add ?
Heather was really good and I felt comfortable leaving Brie with her. Heather gave Brie a bath before she came home and when my husband went to pick her up, she was racing around quite happily which is the best sign ever. Could you please pass on my thanks |

What we were looking for, was, that Toby could be part of the family and that his strict diet be maintained due to skin allergies.
Lynne treated Toby like a Prince and took lots of videos and photos for us, even letting him sleep on her bed. It was also great for him socially to mix with other dogs on neutral territory. She is also only a 10 minute drive away which was very handy when trying to juggle flight times. |

Hi. Just a note to say how pleased we are with the care Gill gave to Jacko on both times she has cared for him. He certainly must have liked having the company of the other dogs for the duration of his stay - he has a bit of a 'lonely' look on his face now!! I went away at the last minute and all of the kennels were booked out – so I tried Top Dog and was lucky enough to get something. Now that I have used Top Dog – I won’t go back to a kennel as I really liked the concept of my dog being in a home rather than a kennel. She almost didn’t want to come home, she had so much fun!
